HUNT FOR SWAN'S FEATHER EVENT HELD IN PRELOG

From July 1 to 3, 2022, a traditional nautical event called Hunt for Swan's Feather was held in the Sports and Recreation Zone Prelog. Traditional organizer - Nautical Club Labud (Swan) from Prelog - again this year entrusted the organization of the three-day event to the Town of Prelog and Marina Prelog Ltd., as part of the project with an acronym AQUA ADVENTURES.

Friday and Saturday were marked by outdoor performances by the Kerekeš Theater. On Friday, a play titled Love was performed, and on Saturday Hurry up to the Emergency Room. However, the highlight of the three-day event was on Sunday, when a race with traditional Drava boats was scheduled. The day started with a sketch by Jan Kerekes and continued with the race in which this year a record 17 crews participated. The most skilled were once again Branko Ivančić and Miroslav Horvat from the Fljojsar Nautical Club from Donja Dubrava.

The traditional slingshot tournament followed, where Ivan Belić from Prelog was the most accurate. The kayak race for love couples was also very dynamic, and the first to reach the finish line were Luka Marđetko and Ana Novak.

Zrinski Guard from Čakovec marked the start of the Drava boats race with a thunderous cannon shot. The Drava monster Pesjanek also appeared, and is apparently not so scary anymore because many children were happy to take photos with him.

Goran and Andrea Šafarić were in charge of a great musical atmosphere, and the rich gastronomic offer was on display, including fish specialties by Vladimir Sabolić.
